RICE LABS came out of years of figuring out how to make PERSONAL INTEREST real. Every release meant sourcing garments, testing blanks, learning print methods, managing embroidery, fixing placements, reviewing samples, coordinating vendors, checking finished goods and dealing with everything that can go wrong between a mockup and a box of product.

By 2021, that production knowledge had become valuable enough to turn into a company of its own.

RICE LABS is a custom apparel production company. The work includes garment sourcing, screen printing, embroidery, DTF, sampling, finishing, packaging and the production coordination required to get a project from artwork to finished inventory.

The point is simple: make the physical product match what was imagined in the first place.

Production is a chain of decisions. The garment, decoration method, placement, size, color, finish and tolerance all affect the final result. A good mockup can still turn into a bad product if those decisions are wrong downstream.

The most important proof is the product itself: prints that hold detail, embroidery that lands correctly, garments that feel right in hand, consistent production runs, clean finishing and orders that arrive looking like the approved sample.

As the archive grows, this section will collect finished client work, samples, print details, embroidery, packaging, production shots and the experiments behind them.

RICE LABS is built around controlling the outcome, not pretending every process has to happen under one roof. The operation owns the specification, vendor choice, pricing, production coordination, quality standard and client relationship.

That keeps the company flexible now while creating a path to bring more production under direct control as the operation grows.

RICE LABS is active and being rebuilt into a stronger production company: better systems, stronger sourcing, larger projects, tighter quality control and progressively more hands-on control over manufacturing.

The long-term goal is not just to produce apparel. It is to become the production infrastructure behind brands that care how the final product actually feels, looks and ships.
